Consignment Terms & Conditions
Stock Swap furniture accepts furniture, china, glassware, antiques, jewelry, decorative and seasonal items (including patio and outdoor).
All items must be cleaned, polished, repaired and in usable condition without any major flaws. We reserve the right to refuse items that are not saleable. A nominal cleaning fee may be assessed for items not ready for sale and deducted from the first payment check.
Pick-up service is available for most furniture items for most locations in Lancaster and York (restrictions may apply).
We require an appointment to bring in small items such as glassware, jewelry, etc.
Items will be priced by Stock Swap staff. It is important to notify us at time of acceptance if an item has significant value. It is our goal to sell your belongings for the best price possible while providing our buying customers with a great value.
The consignment period is 120 days. Items will be reduced 10% each month. In the event an item is not sold during the contract period, 14 days will be allowed for pick-up. The pick-up period will be indicated on your contract. Items not picked up will become property of Stock Swap with sole discretion of the disposition of the item.
The consignor receives 50% of the sale price following the month end of the sale date.
Stock Swap is not responsible for any loss or damage. When you leave your items with us we will cherish and protect them. Since we do not take ownership of the item, you may wish to check with your insurance agent for proper coverage.
